Danny Gans will end his show at Mirage Las Vegas in 2008. His last performance is on November 22, 2008. He is moving his show to the new Encore Las Vegas hotel. He will start performing at Encore Las Vegas hotel from Feb 10, 2009.

"Entertainer of the year"
He's the "Entertainer of the year" in Las Vegas, and his award winning "Show of the Year" is the hottest ticket in town. He's being called the best singer-comedian-impressionist-actor in the business today, by entertainment critics and his peers. Audiences go wild over him. Who is he? He's Danny Gans.

Gans hadn't planned to be an entertainer. His boyhood dream was to play third base for the Dodgers, and he was, in fact, drafted by the Kansas City Royals, while he was still attending high school in California. Sadly, an injury forced him to decline the flattering offer, but, sometimes, opportunity knocks more than once.

When he was in college, Gans had to turn down another draft offer, this one was from the Chicago White Sox. Then, two years later, Gans' life long dream came true: he signed with the Dodgers organization. But, not long after the elation, it all came to a crashing halt during his first season. A career-ending injury turned his life upside-down.

With the love and encouragement of his friends and family, Gans shifted his focus from baseball to entertainment. He had been blessed with a marvelous singing voice, the ability to make people laugh and a rare presence that would manifest itself in his new career.

Gans spent 15 years traveling through the United States, working at his craft and perfecting a vast repertoire of characterizations. At the same time he became one of the most sought-after performers in the prestigious corporate world, often playing to stadium-sized crowds for major, international companies such as IBM and Heinz. He was the darling of the Fortune 500 list. Fellow entertainers such as Bill Cosby and Joan Rivers raved about Gans, and it became apparent that Gans was destined to be a star.

Even though Gans had zoomed to the top of the list of entertainers in the lucrative market, it meant being away from his family 240 days a year. So, when the opportunity to move his show to Las Vegas presented itself, where he could settle down to a life with his family, Gans knew that it was the right move.

In doing so, Gans' commitment to his family had been doubly rewarded; he and his family are happy to call Las Vegas home, and Gans has taken the town by storm. On top of record-breaking crowds and consistently sold out shows, Gans has been showered with accolades and awards. He's the talk of the town, and his name is on the lips of visitors even before they arrive in Las Vegas.

Gans is also an integral part of the Las Vegas community. He recently hosted his 2nd Annual Danny Gans Invitational Golf Tournament. More than $75,000 was raised for the Boys Town of Nevada and the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association, and plans for the 3rd annual, star-studded.

Completing the picture of success, Gans' has just signed a multi-year agreement with Mirage Resorts, the premier gaming company in the world. He is now appearing in his own 1,250-seat theater at The Mirage, In Las Vegas.

This is Danny Gans - "The Man of Many Voices".
